A friend has opened a new graphic design studio and he has asked me to document the daily run of the place for their website, shooting the new interior and people at the desks etc.

Im going to hire a 16-35mm and a 580 flashgun for the day (£48 for both, not bad) for my Canon 40D. So i would love any tips for such shooting, also ive never used the 580 so quick tips for that would also be great..

I'd sure use the flash to bounce light of the ceilings and walls, to get better looking light on your photos. I guess you can play with a large aperture, which you can use very creatively as well to get some photos with limited DoF. Try to shoot the work, not the people, even if you know them or like them after you've talked to them.
