I've been approached to do some photos for an upcoming brochure for numerical software that my place of work is developing (http://www.oceaniccorp.com). Involved in this are a few head shots - that's not a problem, I've done those before. What I'm racking my brain on is some "action" shots. They want photos of the software in use. The immediate thing that comes to mind is someone behind a dizzying array of monitors showcasing the software. Those shots are necessary, but I feel like something more is due... something sort of out of the box a little. I've thought about this for a while and have yet to come up with anything. Any suggestions? The pdf below was sent to me with the words "We want something like this".

The pdf has several 'action' shots along the lines of what I was thinking before I opened it

The monitors one is there, the software being used in engineering scenarios is there.

Is it software that is completely office based or does it link in anyway with the shop floor or into the field. The pdf shows several instances of where theirs does

It's a simulation software of full sale vessel motions in varying sea states - I should have mentioned that.
