The yellow cloth brand name is Selvyt. Salesman recommanded me this yellow cloth for lens cleaning. Anyone using and most important is it safe to do so?

Most people here use microfiber cloths, but pretty much anything will do.

Tip: most opticians sell microfiber cloths for a lot less than camera stores

I got a nice microfiber cloth that my optician gave me, I have one cloth for cleaning my glasses and another cloth for camera lens cleaning. I'm also proud to say that my glasses are Essilors, a brand owned by Nikon. You don't get that Nikkor quality from just any brand!

Before you know it I'll be replacing my light bulbs with Nikon external flashes! Why buy one of those energy efficient bulbs when you could buy an SB-400?

Where do you guys get your cleaning cloths? They sell them for around $10 at the local camera store.

Do your glasses also have a aperture and AF?

I bought my cloth from a Photo shop called Photo Pro. But i've seen a cloth that was said to be the best cloth around since it's supposed to be 18% gray. Now, i have no idea what was meant with that, but someone should know...Spudz Lens cloth.

I am very fussy, perhaps super fussy about what comes into contact with my lenses.
Some optician cleaning cloths may be ok but not all of them.
Glasses use much harder glass & surface coatings which is why optically they are rubbish but more durable when it comes to cleaning.
Personally I would not even use a micro cloth or anything that is a mulitiple use cleaner which IMO means it will become contaminated, this contamination can only get worse. I preffer a book of non impregnated 50/50 cloth (usually rayon) & pulp lens tissues made into a light puff ball shape used once then discarded.

I got a lenspen for xmas, works better than any microfibre cloth I have used.
