B&H has shipped my FZ100, however friends/"Mules" will not be able to hand carry to Costa Rica until mid September :( This digital stuff for me is new, especially with this advanced of a camera. I should probably put myself in the "Dummy" category or confused :? I see that the are some "Digital Photography for Dummies" books available. Besides spending time in Camera Labs "tutorials", are these good or is there something better :?:

I would recommend you buy or borrow the bible of photography teaching.

"Langford's Basic Photography" (9th edition if you can get it)

Michael Langford, renowned author, teacher, and practitioner, is a legend because of his skill that balanced art and technique. He inspired and taught thousands. As Photography Course Director at the Royal College of Art, London, UK, his key involvement with photography courses and exams set the standard worldwide.
