Can I suggest that anybody that doesn't have this facility in their camera, or in their software can download a free trial from Photomatix. I've used it before, it does have a watermark on the sample but works really well.

John :)

Two wonderful HDR representations already. Very different, but both beautiful.

Finally, something that I'm actually decent at!

Ever since it's started snowing (and the -40 degree temperatures have begun...) I've been trying to get up early to catch the frost covering the trees, but so far my attempts haven't exactly been successful. Never the less, it should be fun!

Lovely shots so far guys, I love the warm colours in yours, Popo.

Another alternative is the free trial from Dynamic Photo HDR which gives you a little banner-type thing across the bottom instead of watermarks.

Great shot, Trevor. I love the colors and the general mood of the photo.

Great shot's everybody, HDR is always difficult because you need the perfect subject. My favourites this month are Bob Andersson, palakaboy and Dutt561 because it reminds me of a pic a took in 2007. Happy New Year Everybody! hope to be posting here again soon.

So many good entries this month, a difficult choice, have a great new year.

Cheers

In the spirit of the contest...

Please...

I know I am new here but come on be fair. Please consider the local time that these post may have been added. I would understand it if we were talking about a professional competition...But this is for the FUN of it. And yes I know what the rules say....And no I am not looking for an extension to the open window to be dragged out into the week following the closing date.

But would it not be better to see people included rather than excluded?

I understand doing it to the letter and I understand people who cannot be bothered but the two late entries deserve a chance. I'm not even asking for my own benefit. So I will leave this in the hands of those who are running the show.

Rules...we are all aware why they are there...but some can bend.

Having discussed with Gordon and because I do not want to start the new year on a negative note, I will include the last two entries this time around. In the future though, GMT deadlines will be applied.
