Had the chance to visit one rural fair. The folk singer has gone into his own reverie as he sung the rustic notes with the string instrument to accompany the lyrics.

"All Aboard" by Elmore Photography, on Flickr

This is a combined photo, the train which was taken today and my daughter in law which was taken on the 13th. If this disqualifies me, that's okay.
The train: f/9, 1/200, 70mm, ISO200
Brandy:f/5.6, 1/80, 50mm, ISO800

Used Photoshop CS5 quick selection to choose Brandy from the photo, then refine edge to isolate small hairs. Free tranform to add her to the train, sepia toning.

Taken at the beginning of the month.
Hope you like it, however I don't think it will do all that well with the nice photos that are already posted.

EXIF -

1/125s shutter speed
200 ISO speed

Camera Canon EOS 550D with 18mm to 135mm kit lens
ISO 4000
Exposure 1/40 sec
Aperture 3.5
Focal Length 18mm

PP in Picasa was just a crop

I've been out in Dubai this eve "On Assignment". Decided to do some traveling on the new Metro as a venue. This shot was taken uncomposed 'from the hip' as it feels that taking photos of people in public here can be a bit frowned on and I'm shy

There is just something about the simplicity I like.
