Universe sandbox. Admit it, who hasn't always wanted to change the gravitation constant of the universe. And colliding galaxies are always fun. It doubles as an alternative kind of planetarium software too...

Forza Motorsport 4 (via Amazon affiliate link). No, nothing to do with photography (unless there's a photo mode in it like GT5?) but I need to relax after spending today at work team building event. Legs totally dead now...

Congrats, Antony! I'll be getting this later this year, and I bet I'm not going to wait until Christmas like I originally planned :P

I FINALLY got myself a spedlight flash, the SB-700. It's been extremely handy so far, and the coloured gels that come with it are a very nice touch.

Finally - a 3rd party intervalometer for my D90. With Zenfolio finally supporting video it's prompting me into trying a little video and time lapse. Not prompting me enough to put tens of thousand of shutter actuations on my D700 though!

@EvanK - I understand the coloured gels with the SB-700 communicate through the flash to the camera to adjust white balance, but can you work past this? i.e. you're shooting a portrait with a sunset behind, and you want sunlight WB on the camera for the background and then warming flash for the subject with the CTO gel

Canon EF 50mm USM 1.4
A separate (!$@# shouldn't be necessary) lens hood (aftermarket brand ... if they won't include one with the lens, why should I pay their silly prices for the real thing)
A set of aftermarket extension tubes for macro work

Thanks for the tips on the gels, I've found the CTO gel to be very useful with tungsten lighting, the light becomes much more natural.

I just purchased the ballhead attachment for my Gorillapod SLR Zoom, a worthy addition to any photographer's bag.
