Taken about midnight last night. I guess white nights is officially here.
Shot looks a bit grainy as ISO was set at too much and saw that today only, so had to do quite a bit of NR in PP.

Hi everyone,
Image
Taken at 300mm
1/800sec f5.6
ISO 200
Optimize Image set to vivid
white balance manually set to direct sunlight(0)
I have been trying out the 'Capture NX2' free 60 day trial and finding it quite easy to use.

good one, GCJ...looks like a perfect day! cool blue, and great big sails...
all we need is a picnic lunch, and to dangle our feet in that water...Looks like summer is here...this is a perfect shot of "summer"...

thomasrichards, that is a meloncholy sky, if ever I saw one, beautiful, brooding..
and GR, I like the silouette, that is a gorgeous sunset...
still a little light out here, am gonna go see if I can capture it.

oh, cool!!! then you know I will be waiting for the quackers or honkers! I know the feeling, it just comes over ya in waves...lol...one minute you are sittin there, minding your own beeswax, and then, outta the blue, fowl intent...just like that.

The sun got too low, today, to really put something together, for G.R.'s thread here, had to make do with the tomatoes, but tomorrow, I am going out and about...don't want to shirk my duties..love seeing everyones day,
and it makes MY day that you didn't forget, about the duckage, ya know?

I realise the sky and platform are extremely over exposed but I wanted to show the amount of work, ( by volunteers ) that goes into bringing back to life a carriage like this.
18-135mm lens
at 18mm
f/4
1/60s
0e/v
iso200
everything else auto, although sharpened and colour change
Image
regards GCJ :) CC welcome
