I think we have gotten "comfortable" in the current ongoing operations. When I was in back in the '90s there is no way we would have gone to a training exercise without full camo face paint and camo nets over all our gear and tents. We've got two big exercises coming up before NTC in August, I'll be interested to see how they are conducted.

I have never been in a mosque, it looks simplistic yet a beautiful design. Is that air-con in the pillars. Nice and sharp I like it.

Cheers

Battalion Fun Run time. Probably about 450 Soldiers. The Commander told everyone to wear football jerseys but we didn't get many. Needed a cherry picker or crane-basket to get over the run and see how many there were. This is the Commander and his "Colors" with the staff immediately behind him. This is the end of the run, the beginning the Soldiers formation looked better but I was shooting into the sun.

The wife came up with some great wall art. On our road trip we took a photo together holding the camera out in front of us at different points of interest. It's funny how many people came up and asked if we wanted them to take our picture but we always said no, it was the fun part trying to get close and each of us hold the camera :D So, we printed up a few of the better (and one from her iPhone) and my wife downloaded the letters and did all the matting. It was fun
