Is this thread hibernating?

Was out this evening shooting ducks under sodium lights. Just stuck the 600D at 12800 ISO and the 85/1.8 at f/1.8 and got reasonable shutter speeds from 1/80th to 1/200th. Grainy B/W was the only way to go, but that's cool 8)

This moment was captured by a press photog from below, and printed in lots of media. I like my viewpoint - plenty going on with the spraying of the champagne, the Etihad cabin crew with their perma-grins looking out and the reflections of the crowd in the windows

Phil, please remember the maximum dimension for photos posted on our forum is 1024 pixels, yours are 1100. If you could resize, that'd be great! Thanks!

It's either 76 pixels over or 224 pixels under! I don't want to be posting at 800x533 really. My zenfolio account allows those presets only.

I'll not bother then! :(

Shame really - another site I post on automatically resizes to 1024 from a 1100 pixel pic posted.

I'm currently visiting on my tiny netbook, and even 1024 is a struggle on that, yet it rattles around the 1080 screen at home. Can't win them all. If the forum software could be updated to something more recent that supports resizing that could help, but I seem to remember there were problems with the upgrade attempt in the past.

As a side comment, because of the small display of the netbook, I initially only saw the top-left window reflection area and thought that made an interesting abstract in itself.

Not such a long time ago the longest side had to be 500 pixels - so I guess 800 isn't too bad.
Since I'm posting my pictures via Picasa I'm limited to 800 pixels, too.

And it doesn't look so terribly small ;)

I'm finally finishing editing some astrophotos from the summer. Here's one where I did some slight adjustments in PS, and brought out M31.

By the way, John, enjoying your 55 micro? It's definitely one of my favorites, what a sharp lens!
