Both pictures are f/8 1/250s ISO 100 image set to vivid.
I took them in NEF/raw converted to jpeg for flickr.

Lismore Lake

Took this on the way home after work on Friday morning. Unfortunately i was pretty tired and forgot to use the VR on the 55-200mm, so binned about 90% of what I took over about 2 hours :(

It is a great place for water birds - was hoping for a nice shot for Patti - oh well better luck next time. :D

Nice one GCJ, good colours and the wind gives it a great sense of movement.

Keep in mind though that Flickr wants you to link back to the image, you should use [url=link to flickr page][img].jpg%20link[/img][/url].

One of the 'gypsy' girls living many blocks away from my neighborhood. They usually sell water, popcorn and such (baloons, in this case) to the flocks of richies taking a stroll down the shore.

Hi spinner, I'd appreciate it if you would kindly use the IMG tags for the image and post the actual image into the thread, the title of the thread being photo of the day, as opposed to link of the day.

As there seems to be no way to link to a "jpg" I think the problem lies with using Fotopic to host images intended for forum display, as well as the normal gallery, rather than your ability.

Unless there's some secret method only available to members? :?

Bob.
