Hey guys,

Can anyone recommend any resources - books, sites or whatever, on flash photography? I've got my love SB-800 speed light but haven't been able to make proper use of it so far!

cheers!

Welly

Hi Welly,

Gordon has a video workshop on How to brighten daytime portraits with a fill-in flash to get you started.

If your looking for sites, Strobist.com is well known for their amazing strategies when it comes to flashes, and David Tejada (davidtejada.blogspot.com) often offers videos on how he shoots on-location.

Have you used the wireless control of the SB-800 with the flash of your D70?

If not, set the SB-800 on Remote

Set the flash mode to Commander Mode

Fire away!
