FYI, the cameralabs from page at www.cameralabs.com has a link at the top marked 'camera forum'
It doesn't link to the forum, it only refreshes the page.
With FireFox 'inspect element', you can see that the link does not go to www.cameralabs.com/forum.
This does not apply if you are already on forum, only the front page.

No big deal, but any newbs trying to click into the forum can't from front page.

You're missing the point entirely.

I agree with dubaiphil. Forum traffic cannot be helped by having to search for the forum in order to access it. Newbies clicking on the tab and not getting there will mostly move on. Hopefully it is not just a means of boosting hits on the home page. If the forum is indeed to be killed/ignored it would be better for the link to be removed altogether and the site redesigned for whatever the owner wants it to be. At the moment it is not a forum because it has been neglected.

I just tried reaching the forum from the main Cameralabs page, and it did not do anything; the screen blinked, and remained on the main page.

Do we want to keep the forum active?

I sent Gordon a PM about it the last time I logged in. He said that he was having issues with the forum and removed the link form the Forum button.

I went to the home page and typed /forum at the end of cameralabs.com in the address bar. Then I just bookmarked the forum home page.

Thanks; it is good to know that Gordon is aware of the problem.

I posted elsewhere, but I got to the forums by clicking on photography tips page and then clicking on the forums.
