Last Christmas I got a Kindle Touch for myself and have been enjoying it so much and impressed with Amazon's Kindle family, I got a Fire HD for the Mrs. It's a pretty nifty tablet, I have to say.

Has anyone had experience tethering (via cable or wireless) to your tablet of choice and your camera for on the fly images? Any particle app that works best?

I think this would be pretty nice setup if achievable...

I don't know of any particular apps per se, but I do have a friend who tethered his rooted Nexus 7 to a T2i (550D) to use it as a monitor, simply through a micro USB cable, so it is possible.

EDIT: this should fit your needs nicely, I'm not sure if it's compatible with the Fire HD though, so beware before you spend $9 on it.
