So I know this is not a DSLR question...With the little one on the way my wife is interested in getting an inexpensive handycam or video camera or whatever you call them now :) We have just looked briefly at the big-box stores, looking at the ones that are $300.00 and under. Any suggestions or good reviews? I know, we could use our T2i, but that is more than what the boss wants to learn and deal with. I don't know what features they have, what to look for. Thanks

Great camera but you'll need patience when building the movie files. I bought wondershare for this and it does a good job
