I am confused as to why you need an adapter, do you have an FD mount film camera already? If not, you have a load of EF lenses listed in your signature.. Just get an EOS film camera, use your EF lenses and retain IS and AF.

Thanks mirageii! I got a little bit confused before :D Yes I am on the lookout for a EOS film camera now. I don't want anything too expensive. Just something to play around with that won't matter if I end up not using it.

I'm pretty happy with my EOS 33v - it's quite new as it was one of the latest analog EOS cameras but you can get it for "not so much" money. EOS 1 / 3 / 5 cameras can still be relatively expensive. The EOS 30 is the same as the EOS 33 but has the eye control feature. :D
