I'm kind of a newbie i guess
Only thing i've owned of DSLR's is my current EOS 400D.
Besides that i've tried a 350D and my dad's old none digital SLR. But can't remeber the brand of that.

Canon EOS 400D + EF-S 17-85mm f/4-5.6 IS + EF-S 55-250mm f/4-5.6 IS + EF 50mm f/1.8

I own/owned:

Canon D30 (no, not the 30D, I'm talking about the OLD 3.3mp DSLR, replaced shutter curtain once)
Canon 20D (still working after 60,000+ actuations)
Mamiya 645 Pro TL (this is the best way to get into medium format gear, cheap and great results)

135mm f/2L (probably my all time favorite, dearly regret selling)
70-200 f/2.8L (best zoom I've ever owned, sold it during my "everything has to be a prime lens" stage)
24-70 f/2.8L (big bulky, limited range, don't miss too much)
100-400 L IS (nice zoom, but gives up some IQ and speed)
24-105 f/4L IS (becoming my favorite walk-around lens)
17-40 f/4L (compact, good IQ, but limited range)
17-55 f/2.8 IS (excellent low light performer)
10-22 (W I D E)
15-30 (Sigma) (slow focus and no HSM)
30mm f/1.4 (Sigma) (good prime, fast)
85mm f/1.8 (best portrait lens, but a little long for cropped body.
50mm f/1.8 (can't beat the price vs performance ratio)
50mm f/1.4 (better build than the f/1.8 version, slightly better bokeh)
28-135 IS (this was a long time favorite, with good results around f/8
17-85 IS (compact, IS, good range)
18-55 (only used once)
75-300 non-IS (not a bad zoom for the money)
24mm f/3.5L Tilt/Shift (by far the most difficult lens to master)
70-300 IS (newer version, but had problem when shooting in portrait orientation, recalled and fixed, very effective IS system)
*Current kit in signature*

Played with
D3 and the 12-24 for a few days over Christmas (fell in love)
D200 (used for about a week, GREAT handling, didn't like the shutter sound)
1DMII (fast, great build)

I don't even want to get going on bags. I have a serious bag problem.

I almost forgot to add this guy: ZeroImage 6x9 (beautiful, fun to use, but results are hit and miss. I think that's part of the charm)

Leica M9, Nikon D300s, Leica X1, Canon S95, Zero Image 6x9
