Please could someone explain what is Nano surface coating

How does it work

Is it damaged through cleaning

does it have an affect on filters

As this coating is Nikon-specific, you may have better luck asking this question in the Nikon section.

Hi RexGig thanks ,however I have a Panasonic Lumix ZF 150 and it states in the spec sheet that the lens has a nanno surface coating so it is no longer Nikon-specific. However I will try Nikon. Trying to get information from Panasonic on their web site is impossible

Try searching for this in Google
"nano surface coated on lenses"
It comes up with articles on how Canon, Nikon and Panasonic use the technique on their glass.
