Hi folks,

A 36MP full-frame Concept System Camera:

There are more renderings on the website here.

This has to be the most drop dead gorgeous concept camera I've ever clapped my poor old peepers on. I've no idea whether it would actually be possible to cram all the mechanicals into the available space but maybe if the integrated flash was dropped there might just be...

The concept of OLED displays within the command wheels is extraordinary. My only reservation would be the 18 mm flange focal distance which I think places far too many restrictions on acceptable lens designs. Stick with something closer to, but not more than, the Leica M-system 27.80 mm value and, if Leica had announced it, I wouldn't be sitting here typing, I'd be banging down Leica's doors pre-ordering one even if it did cost more than an M9-P. 8)

If proof were needed that current camera design has got stuck in a rut then Vladimir Markov has provided it. Chapeau. 8) 8) 8)

Bob.

While I think this is within realms of possibility, sadly a concept is just a concept. The dial is rather bling though.
