Still here, but I'll be going with what Phil said in his original post i.e. "as often as possible." It is very unlikely that I will be able to post daily. But we'll gie it a go.

Can't believe I seem to be first post for Decemberfest. Just home from a day on the road. As I've done over 330 miles today on this and other roads I thought a pic of the M6 was appropriate.

I've never actually done anything like this pic before but am reasonably pleased with this effort. However I must be doing something wrong because after this I couldn't get the shutter to fire at long exposures. Need to find the manual!

Thanks for the comments chaps. It was cold!

Here's a couple from today. First one, our local weather - from the car!

I like the natural colours in this especially the green, could I ask why you shot in this in Spot Metering Mode for a landscape. You must have a steady hand to shoot 1/30 sec.

Cheers

I wish I could say that it was a deliberate choice but it wasn't. Although I had my tripod with me, for this pic and a couple more I was jammed between a dinghy and a fence. I couldn't use the tripod and had been spot focusing on some nearer geese - and the camera was in the same mode for this pic, which is a crop. Oddly enough I thought I'd gone a bit over the top with the green when I was just trying to brighten the pic up a bit. I'm not very good at pp.

My pic for 4 December. This is my "Trendy Landy." Been in my ownership for more than ten years and never let me down. However I've decided to move on and get a few creature comforts and the Landy can be appreciated by the next owner.

We're here. I've got photos from each day to post but have been burning the candle at both ends over the weekend. Out in a sea kayak this eve, got a shot planned. Hopefully I'll play catch up tomorrow night

Fabulous pics WM.

Are you `upgrading` to a comfier 4X4 when the Landy goes?
Presume you'll need AWD where you live.

I already have the comfier one Carlos. I'm saving it for another December pic! Yes the 4wd is pretty handy for getting up and down the hill we are on once anything cold or white is on the ground. I also need towing power for SWMBO's equestrian pursuits. The two things have pretty much determined or limited my vehicle choice since about 1993.

Thanks for the comment.
