@Plymer - the workshop was really great. I hope that I soaked in a lot. Still trying to process all the info now that I am back in cloudy Paris.

I highly recommend the workshop to anyone interested in street photography or even if you are just interested in learning from 2 great photographers and more importantly, 2 very nice people in general. The way to edit photos is what I think I appreciated the most (not post edit, more photo selection and sequencing)

You can check out their work: http://www.webbnorriswebb.com/

Adobe Photoshop CS6 for Photographers by Martin Evening (via Gordon's support me page, of course).

I found the CS4 version invaluable and I have a feeling there are enough changes in CS6 to make the new book worthwhile. Not released until May the 18th unfortunately.

Bob.

P.S. I also ordered "Passing The Baton - Live From Brixton" by Faithless on DVD/CD at the same time but as that's not photography related I won't mention it here. Next on the wish list is TBC by Rita Ora. At least mentioning her is photography related as she sings "no cameras, please" in this video.

Congratulations! :)

The practical side of me thinks this to be a perfect lens. I do not have one, because I have yet to decide whether or when to go more in the direction of full-frame Canons.

I just purchased a shotgun accessory from Amazon, which I accessed through the link here at Cameralabs.

Bought a Tamron SP70-300mm F/4-5.6 Di VC USD from Henry's in Canada. Their estimate was 2-3 days to ship it, then 2-3 days for postal service to deliver it. I ordered on Thursday, they sent it on Friday, and I received it on Monday, very happy with their service.

Canon 1.4x II extender. Was 30% cheaper than the version III, and according to Digital Picture's ISO charts, slightly sharper in the center while softer in the corners. That suits my crop sensor just fine. 8)

Also this soundtrack. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0Ek2pU0W ... re=related I'm a dork.

Wahoo after three years of rubbish broadband speeds (4mbps download and 0.5mbps upload) BT have finally upgraded my area to Infinity. Unfortunately I can't get the 100mb speeds but I did order the maximum available. Should get 33mb download and 9mb upload. Can finally search for my dream camera kit with speed... in a few weeks when it is installed. :D

Synology DS411 Slim RAID box to store lots of data and to use as a NAS device. Nice small footprint and low power usage as it uses 2.5 inch hard drives.

CaK filter. Decided against getting a new scope for now while I work out in more detail what exactly I'm going to do with one...
