Congrats on the Leica M8 Orlando! You'll love it!

Just got some apparel: a trench coats, a sports jacket, a dress shirt and a pocket square. How is that photography related? I suppose the items contribute, along with the M9-P, to a classic style, and certainly the trench coat will protect the M9-P from rain this summer. :)

Tamron 17-50 2.8. Wow, a very nice small, sharp lens!

3 x Sandisk Ultra SDXC UHS-I Class 10 64GB cards from Amazon UK.
1 x Olympus OM Lens to Micro 4/3 (MFT) System Camera Lens Mount Adapter from Fotodiox.
1 x Canon EOS Lens to Micro 4/3 (MFT) System Camera Lens Mount Adapter from Fotodiox.

The last item will attach to a Mamiya 645 to Canon EOS Lens Lens Mount Adapter I bought from from Fotodiox last year and will allow me to use a Mamiya medium format 150mm f/2.8 A (A stands for APO) lens on my OM-D E-M5 (when it arrives). I'm normally one for the wider fields of view but for some strange reason I'm really looking forward to using the Mamiya on the E-M5 although it might look like a bit of an odd combination.

The OM adaptor will be for my old Zuiko 200mm f/4 and 50mm f/1.4 lenses. I just hope they can take the strain of working in front of a digital sensor!

Bob.

Elinchrom EL-Skyport Transmitter SPEED and Elinchrom EL-Skyport Universal SPEED (receiver).

Okay, I am poor, I can't afford the popular PocketWizard.

Missed my train so another train ticket to Milan from Paris. I am attending a photography workshop hosted by Alex Webb, this weekend in Milan. Starts tomorrow, can't wait.

Sucks about the train DP, but sounds like a great workshop!

Just put in an order for a few more memory cards... 16gb Lexar CFs, as I'd like to shoot some full RAW instead of sRAW1 at next weekend's wedding  Also ordered some Eneloops and a charger - after getting out-flashed by my primary at the wedding a few weeks ago @ 1/2 power I finally caved and got me some NiMH rechargeables. Too bad they won't be here by tomorrow as I could definitely use them all, but the shipping gods will be as they will be :)

Well, technically I didn't buy it (it's a freebie, courtesy of Lowepro), but my latest acquisition so to speak is the Lowepro Pro Trekker 600 AW - ladies and gentlemen, I present to you...the king of all camera bags!

1: My trusty CompuTrekker AW (which was replaced in Lowepro's line-up by the Pro Runner 350 AW) on the left, the new bag being far larger on the right. Note the backpack lid/removable waistpack on top of the bag.

2: On the inside. As you can see I've got quite a bit of space left.

3: Built in memory card holders on the inside lid, featuring a clever way to show which cards are full and which are empty. For fast access, there are two additional (total: six) memory card holders in the left side compartment.

My most recent technical purchase was a Zoom H2N microphone / audio recorder which I'm currently using for the sound side of my video travel blogs - see: http://www.cameralabs.com/features/Working_holiday/

Nice one - I'm using a Zoom H1 and that little thing can produce quite some nice sounds!

I've been away from my hobby far too long, so I decided to re-enter with a brand new NIKKOR 18-200mm VRII. Should get it by Thursday 8)

I'm excited because I've been using a 35mm since I started back in '08
