Anyone planning a trip to the Grand Canyon and want to do the Sky Walk as a fellow photographer a BIG warning...YOU CANNOT TAKE YOUR CAMERA GEAR OR ANY ELECTRONICS ON THE SKY BRIDGE. I think it is a horrible stupid scam! You already have to pay a butt load to get out there and get on the bridge then you can't take any f'n pictures. You have to let them take your pictures then pay out the A$$ for those. $30.00 a picture, that's Bull $hit! Anyway, I'm still fuming. I did get some good ones from the area around the bridge, I'll post some soon. The bridge is at the West gate. We went to the South gate today and it was completely fogged in. Oh Well. Meteor Crater tomorrow

Hmmm, that is frustrating Mike. I know I rejected a trip to see them a few years back becuase you had to get their bus to the location, and it seemed like it was opportunity after opportunity to sell you something else.

Just go to the South rim! I can also recommend a big loop around via Lake Powell, Bryce and Zion Canyon, back to las Vegas...

Yea that's right, you had to pay for the bus out also. I did go to sputh the next day and it was fogged in. I got a few pics but they need some editing before i post.

So many people come back with complaints about the Sky Walk. It takes hours to get there. Then you have to get a mini bus from the gate to the sky walk (at extra cost), then you have to pay to get on the skywalk, now you have to pay for pics.

I strongly suggest stumping up the dosh for a helicopter from Vegas. I was a bit shocked by the $250+ each price tag but it was worth every penny.

Take as many pictures as you like, fly over the Hoover Dam, fly past the sky walk, land in the bottom of the canyon, have a picnic (included in price). Fly back down the Vegas strip. We went in December so the strip was lit and the sky darkening in the late afternoon.

Especially if it's a once in a lifetime visit... you don't want to use a whole day sat on a coach do you?
