Hi guys, speaking of large google+ numbers, I'll be joining Trey Ratcliff, Thomas Hawk and others for a live hangout immediately after ours - this will be broadcast live too, so you may enjoy watching it! Or even trying to join it as Trey normally has a couple of spaces free... There'll be a link on Treys and my stream...

Hmm, I'll try to get into that as well, or watch it at least. Thanks Gordon!

Will that be streaming on another site or how does that work if I just want to watch it from the sidelines?

Marko, one of Trey's friends captures the stream and webcasts it out live on his site, so once Trey starts the hangout, he'll publish a link for people to watch live if they can't actually join it in person. He'll also record it for future viewing.

if you want to stream your hangouts, justin tv and ustream offer free software to do it, you might also be able to get youtube streaming enabled on your account as your a partner.

idea for next stream, if we all install manycam, we can share our desktops and show some images we've taken.

was really laggy for me tonite on my netbook, only 1 gig of ram and 1.6ghz proccessor. should have got a cam for my desktop as thats a beast :D especially with my 40meg download /10meg upload internet connection

It was quite a lot of fun again this week - the last ones left ten minutes ago.
I'm looking forward to meeting all of you again next week

Well, you can watch Trey and the rest anyway! My hangout plug-in crapped out on me!

I really enjoyed our hangout earlier though - same time next week!

We should definitely set up a little system that allows us to share our latest photography, that looks really cool! Will be trying Manycam as suggested by Stephen after Trey's Hangout.

Great this time as well! :D

(Think this is the last time I use the 7D as a webcam, it gets seriously hot after around an 1 hour. Did a test shot after it shut down, severe ISO noise at ISO-800.)

This works perfectly indeed, great tool:

If you plan to join next weeks Hangout, be sure to install this, I bet we're gonna want to try this out and show our latest photographs...
