Found some bulk film while cleaning and throwing away old stuff from a loft at home. Struck gold so to say! ^^

The two boxes contain new film rapped in black paper.
And I found one roll without a metal box which I unraveled and "destroyed", probably around 2m, it exposed itself decently, nice and even, took some time before it was fully exposed though.

There is no printed ASA marking on the boxes, only some hand writing on one of them which says 6-8ASA.

Does anyone know what I have here?

1968, wow! I think it might be slightly over date, though.

What you have sir, is some out of date film.

6-8 ASA is the ISO, as in ISO 6, a little bit lower than what your 7D is capable of

I know ASA means ISO, more or less.

But, given that there is no printed marking on the cans, I got a bit confused and did not trust the handwritten ASA value on it.
Therefor I am wondering if someone can confirm it by other means. ;)

I have seen examples of old film like this doing alright. Therefor the age does not worry me that much.

Plus-X - B&W slow (125 ASA) negative film with finer grain
