Interesting analogy between Mars and my home here. Was that the Curiosity rover I passed on my way home today.......

I found out a way to see Star Wars episode 4 in Terminal for Mac with this command:
telnet towel.blinkenlights.nl
It's in ASCII but still really awesome :)

still been thinking about the Leica lens I tested the other day in a Used camera / lens store.

the Summicron 50mm f/2 Version III 6Bit Coded..... the bokeh was buttery smooth and the colors were just fantastic. The price for a used one is still quite much! >.<

Though I've been thinking about getting the Voigtlander Ultra-Wide Heliar 12mm f/5.6 ASPH II, its ultra wide indeed, also made for fullframe sensors :P and the price is really low (here in Taiwan) Im tempted

Well, damn.
And worse.
That's what I think the whole day. My girl, at the age of 18, has cancer and is almost sure going to die...
I think I need my camera more than ever!

Just don't give up and don't let her give up.

Well... the second of March is my birthday and this year my brother died on my birthday (pulmonary embolism and a heart attack). At least for a minute or so - they got him back. It was a terrible time and für some days it wasn't sure whether he'd survive it. He did.

Don't know what else to write. I just hope everything turns out better than it looks at the moment.

My thoughts go out to you, her, and your families, Ruben.

It's difficult to lose a loved one, I felt similar when my grandmother was in the hospital, and we knew that there wasn't really anything else we could do. However, we still didn't give up hope, and you shouldn't either; miracles have happened. Best wishes to everyone at your end.

Hi ruben123,

I really don't know what to say, but I wish the best of luck to you and your family and if it does any difference, and I hope it does, I'll pray. Oh and also, believe me when I say this, miracles DO happen, and I tell you this from a couple experiences that I've had in the past, I actually was just a hair away from dying, but really weird things can happen.
Don't give up on hope!
