Camera Labs

My T2i is waiting for me, my wife was cruel enough to send me a picture of it and all my kit laid out of the floor

So, what are some good beginner books? I read DSLRs for Dummies (I love Dummies Books, I learned a lot of programming from them) but didn't actually have a camera so I didn't understand a lot at the time. I told my wife she should read through it then realized it is lost deep in my storage unit A buddy just recommended Bryan Peterson's book "Understanding Exposure." Is this one good or do you recommend anything else?

How about some of the suggestions in the threads Books ? and Recommended Photography Book?

I thought we had a better thread than either of those lurking about somewhere on the forum but I'm blowed if I can find it!
