+1 to citrus. Was looking for reviews to help me decide between d90, 500d and 50d and stumbled across CL through google. It took me a while to realise Gordon was based in Queenstown and I can remember looking at the test shots thinking "I know where that is"...

Wow...

Cameralabs would be a LOT smaller if it wasn't for Gordon's Youtube reviews!

Good job Gordon!

Youtube vid here too. Might've been the video tour of the Canon 18-200mm or the 450D. I visited cameralabs.com and signed up on the forum after having been a visitor for some weeks

Useful information guys! Yes, we do get a lot of traffic via youtube. I do plan on doing more video reviews, but I need to get a LOT of reviews written before I can start filming again...

Can't wait for the D7000 review!

According to my local camera store, there's a D7000 kit in stock, but I didn't think that they were out in Canada yet...

I'd better call them when they open tomorrow!

I'm pretty sure I found when Googling for A700 reviews. Might have been through YouTube, I really can't remember.

 Many people here via YouTube.

Well... not me.

I usually read a lot of reviews before buying something more expensive so I was looking for reviews of the Canon Powershot SX-10 IS before buying it. That was in the end of 2008.
Well... I found different reviews that helped but the best review, best overview, best comparison I found was the one on Cameralabs ;)
I read everything and decided that this was the camera I wanted.

OK, then I watched the video reviews - it became some kind of hobby for some time and now the well known gear acquisition syndrome was tickling me and after having read more reviews and comparisons I chose the Canon EOS 500D. :D
Yeah... still these video reviews are the best I could find as well.

Short: Not YouTube but Google. :D
