Hi everyone

Just wondering if anyone has taken any online or distance education photography courses that they could recommend.
Any help is appreciated :)

Hi, and a warm welcome to the CameraLabs forums. 8)

I know "online" may transcend national boundaries but it might help jog someone's memory if you could indicate a preferred geographic region.

Oh right, sorry.
Right now I am in Japan. And I will be until the end of July, then I'll be back in Canada most probably. But yeah that's why I say online because I am possibly going to be moving more than once in the next six months.
A friend of mine suggested NYIP (New York Institute of Photography). Has anyone heard of it? It's a bit pricy for what I am looking for at the moment. I would just like assignments and personal feedback on my pictures.
Thanks,
Amanda

If you're after technical advice, we'll be providing some tutorials soon, and if you're after assignments and critiques, we can do all that on this very forum!

But I know there's a few people on the forums who are in various formal courses around the world, so they could comment on how useful they are and what to look out for... Daniel, you there?
