Hi folks. You've maybe noticed I'm not posting many new images these days. My health's not been too good of late and so I've not been getting out and about as much as before. Thought I'd resurrect some of my older stuff just to keep my stock up, so to speak. Most were taken with my trusty Fuji F-11, a much under-rated camera. I'll get out again soon and see what I can come up with.

Some good news though, my wife & I just bought an apartment in Spain so at least the summer holidays are taken care of

Anyone need to rent a flat in the summer, you know where to find me. Good rates can be negotiated.

Hi Zorro we have missed you here - I hope you're feeling better soon. The place in Spain sounds very nice!

The thing with Spain is that their food is... how to put this... uninteresting. If your house in Spain is at a travel distance from the Portugal, come try our traditional meals. And wines.

Get well soon!

Hi Zorro,

Great to see you back and I hope it's not too long before you are striding over the Glens again, HDRing all over the place. 8)

I'm not planning any trips to Spain but, out of interest, roughly where is the apartment? Hope it's got broadband.

Bob.

My place in Spain is within 200 metres of an Italian ristorante...sorted

Sorry, thanks for the kind words Gordon, appreciated.

And Portugal...Yes, I do fancy seeing some of Portugal, the Douro (?) in particular. I've never been there yet, but the emphasis is on "yet".

.
Really sorted if you are similarly close to a fine Spanish restaurant who will take a couple of hours making a paella to your order while you sit in the shade with a refreshing drink or three... 8) 8) 8)

The apartment's in Almeria I should have said. Bizarre really, as it's not an area of Spain we were particularly familiar with. We were out there last week though for four days and loved it. Actually, that's the first time we've been by the Med anywhere near winter and the light was...simply awesome. Every other time we've been in that neck of the woods it's been high summer and for me that mainly consists of short sprints from one shaded bar to the next

Hi Zorro, sorry to hear you've not been too well lately. Hope you're all better soon so that you can get out capturing those magical images that you have such an eye for.

Congratulations on your new place in the sun....it'll make a nice escape from the Scottish winters too, if it gets too cold where you are :)

All the best to you,
Mark
