Considering some mobiles these days have let say a half decent P&S camera on them so let see what your best quality pics are from your mobile no cheating neither lol.

Hmm... the decreasing prices of DSLRs and the increasing capabilities of camera phones may one day negate the need for compact cameras. Camera phones may even replace DSLRs one day. See here. 8)

I've got a W810i too Roland!

LOL thanks grahamnp - well, it's on the net so it must be true

I've found the w810i to be a very good phone. Will stay with S E in the future.

Hi dark_realm,

Is there any way you could post a smaller version of your photo (and include a link to the full size one) as images that wide destroy the line wrapping of all other messages in this page of the thread? Thanks.

Bob.

I can't say these are from my mobile home, but they were taken just outside my old van which I keep a mattress in for these kind of trips. These were taken with a Canon A620. This was my first "real" camera, since it offered complete manual control, and that helped me learn the basics of photography. This camera was so good, it set the bar very high when entering the DSLR world

I think the posts so far really demonstrate the quality of P&S cameras -- this is a great thread :D

Hi lucianus_luciferus,

Just a housekeeping note but could I repeat my request that when posting shots they are kept down to a width less than
the normal width of forum messages. The phpBB software which operates this forum can't resize wide images automatically
and as a result the line wrapping of text in threads with wide images gets lost forcing readers to use the horizontal scrollbar to
read messages or authors to include extra carriage returns, as in this message. Thanks.

By the way, great shot. 8)

Bob.
