What is the best way to preview photos on a larger screen than the one on the camera? This would obviously be useful while away e.g. on holiday and you wanted to check the shots were OK, in case you needed to go back to the same place and try again. The two solutions I can think of are digital photo frames and laptops. Laptops are a bit too expensive for me, but would be of more use than a photo frame for other purposes. Any ideas?

Thanks.

Some PDA's have some relativley large screens and will accept a SD/SDHC card.

Better yet look for something like this

http://www.epson.com/cgi-bin/Store/cons ... d=63061067

It is designed to view and back-up your photos.

Hi Brate, hope you don't mind, I've updated the link to the manufacturer's own page.

Besides bringing a laptop I think Brate's idea is the best solution. You'll accomplish two goals with this. It has a fantastic screen for checking your photos and you'll be able to use it as a photo storage device, not to mention all the other media files it will handle.

I think Brate's suggestion is the most practical since those devices are designed specifically for that purpose.

Creative has two media devices that play mp3s, movies and all the usual stuff but allow you to download images from compact flash cards as well. It has an adapter for SD cards. It has more features but probably handle photos quite as well as the Epson would.
