I'm finally ready to sell my camera. Since I haven't seen any posts for selling equipment I wanted to be sure it was ok to put up a "For Sale" post. Some forums frown on sales is why I ask.

This might not be the best place to sell equipment, try EBAY or selling it to elsewhere, I think because forums are a place to socalize not really a marketplace.

Hi Brian, thanks for asking the question.

At first it seems an innocent and good idea to advertise sales on a forum, but there are potential issues which could mean the site itself becomes liable. So I'm afraid we're not able to allow sales on the forum. Sorry!

I'll update the sign-up pages to reflect this.

Fearless Leader is right though - you'd get much better response for this kind of thing on eBay.
