Hi folks,

Let me apologise straight away as this piece of news only applies to forum members from the United Kingdom who purchase their camera kit from abroad.

If, as some do, you purchase your gear from abroad (individual items worth between £100 and £30,000) then make sure you use your credit card. The credit card companies have just lost their appeal to the House of Lords so if the item is faulty or damaged you are entitled to a refund from your card provider (though it might be a good first option to contact the retailer!).
