A friend of my uncles was in getting his computer fixed yesterday, and I was talking to him about cameras and the such like. He said he would bring down his camera with lenses and bag and I could have a shot of it for a week or two, and low and behold, I came into the shop after school and it was there!!!
Took it home and spent like an hour figuring out which setting I had messed up, then changed something else, then decided it would be a good idea to maybe read the manual; but that didn't happen, so I went onto my roof and tried to snap a few photos. Not very good light and I missed the sunset (stupid hill) but I have two weeks anyway.
Hopefully i'll get up really early tomorrow morning before school and jump on the roof again and get the sunrise, hopefully the houses stay out mah way!
He has the 18-55mm kit lens, and a 80-210mm Kodak Lens (meh) seems pretty good so far, but I still need to figure out how to work it, so my bedtime reading tonight is the camera manual!
He said he will sell for about £400, including 2Gb CF, 350D Body, 18-55mm EF-S Kit lens, 80-210mm Kodak (something) lens, 2 Camera Bags, 2 Canon Batteries, Battery Charger, cables and finally, lens cleaning fluid.
Is it worth £400, if not then I'd be more than willing to save for the 400D, but I'm not sure exactly what it has over the 350D, aside maybe continous shooting and obviously 10Mp, oh I dunno I'm just happy I have my first DLSR camera to use
Anyone know what time sunrise is in Fife? lol! (I'm never up that early most of the time!)
