Just so that he can appear to be correct. This means that newbies that watch his videos are going to be misinformed and won't even know about it. Censorship is wrong.

YouTube should ban that guy from their website, it's bad publicity!

Youtube should have a policy about spreading misinformation. I think anyone can say whatever they want but if they are being deceptive on purpose that's just wrong.

I sincerely believe that the poor lad has a mental illness of some sort.

To put this much effort and energy into deceiving those who knows very little - while only knowing a little more himself - instead of spending that time actually learning, is a little too desperate to be entirely healthy and normal.

It appears very much like the behavior you see in some children who has suffered from severe abandonment.

I hope that he gets some help...

Today on Dr. Phil: a YouTube wacko finally receives his much-needed treatment.

I'm so glad I found this thread!

After watching one of his vids on filters, in addition to being a total noob, I noticed that the video in question didn't recommend Hoya filters. I thought, jeez that's funny, everywhere else says that they're quite good.

So I posted a question about it & he replies by assuring me that they are "poor quality." This just didn't seem right to me after reading so many positive things about them.

Anyway, I now know that he's not really a reliable source of information & have replied again to the video asking him if they use Hoya filters at National Geographic. :)

He'll probably realise that someone is on to him and delete the post.

Cheers! :)

PS Sorry to revive a pretty old thread but I think it's good that people are alerted to this guy.

Just clicked on the original link, but it's been removed.
What/who's this thread about please?

I'm wondering as well. I was banned from his channel today for questioning him about the reliability of the quotes from his "Funny photography quotes" video, and accusing him of being 'rude' to some kind people in the video (However most situations were probably made up anyways...).

I dislike "nikon help hotline" from youtube. & that music present on every video is super annoying. Also, some lens reviews are totally off, especially the sharpness & overall performance aspects.

yep, he's a super nikon fanboy... Im glad that he's not at Canon's side xD

well I hope someone someday hacks his computer, to shutdown his youtube account for good ^^

I dont like liars at all!

But he has a lot of nice stuff..... rich bas***d!

Well I've never seen any of his photos either, I asked him but I never got an answer, so he's just wasting money on good lenses he almost never uses probably.

Anyways Im not banned, I chose to ignore! xD

@elbeasto, heh.. well Hoya is alright especially the HD ones, but I prefer B+W (German). but that's not a big question though xD

Some of his lens reviews seemed kinda bull to me to, but are all his videos nonsense? like the tutorial on how to use graycards, because i'm looking to buy one and it seemed quite ok to me.

there are so many tutorials on the net on grey cards from serious sources, that you won't need a source that is so questionable.
