Great shots guys! Gekko, you might want to try to use a graduated ND filter if you don't want the city/town/whatever lights to be so bright.

Two days ago this was a beautiful beach at Yamba with blue water.



This one nearly went under on the Clarence River

The river has covered the lowest bridge so we can't leave Yamba.

Although to far away for my 200 mm lens it does show the wild surf. Only 2 guys went out as there as logs floating around was making it to dangerous. Angourie point at Yamba, (aboriginal name for wild ocean). Although the storms were pretty bad we never went below 24C. They tell me the river will not drop until Saturday so we can leave, hope the pub does not run out of beer.



Later in the day.

News team landing on the football oval in Yamba town centre, I got a good shot of the rotors blurred but so was everything else. I also missed the military bringing in suppliers.

lagnificent, I wanted to do that sort of stuff but my wife said no way. Went to check out the road flooded and they say it looks like it will be ok to cross the low level bridge on Saturday, not to sure about the highway north home at the monment.

This cow was unfortunate in the floods, it would have travelled around 20 km down river and the washed up about 100 metres from Turners ocean beach.

wow, 4xxxx. Your in flood up there and we are on fire down here. Fortunately the bush fires are mostly out now, its been unusually dry here for the last 3 month. Grass is brown my lawn looks dead.
