my place of learning. not as snazzy or cool as most of yours but maybe i get a prize for the cheapest, most uncomfortable chair? :D

tech specs:
screen: lcd and square-ish
computer: definitely a pc, with a processor and memory and stuff, 5 years old and still limping along, (but won't run bioshock or COD4..)
printer: canon colour thingy
speakers: hi-tech, super-woofer, ultra-gain with overdrive (about 3w peak music power)
point & shoot: casio exilim with resolution worse than my phone now..
book: the mammoth book of chess (i don't get out much...) :)
laptop: thinkpad x61 - lovely lovely lovely machine

Hehe, no! You won't "get a prize for the cheapest, most uncomfortable chair". But hey, your "hi-tech, super-woofer, ultra-gain with overdrive (about 3w peak music power)" speakers are priceless

I might get a second monitor for my future laptop some time, does look kinda cool, having two screens, as long as you can use them for seperate applications. One with a permanent CL forum, one with other stuff...
