for anyone interested, Apple's CEO Steve jobs is holding a keynote presentation today at 6PM GMT and these events are where apple normally release all its new service's and gear. This year there are rumers about a new 3G iphone, New apple computer + more.

A video of it all is normally available the day after, but there are reporters there updating pages live as it happens for everyone to see.

There are also IRC channels, SMS updates for mobiles and twitter accounts to follow if your interested.

just watched the first 5 minutes of the keynote pretty cool new iphone twice as fast built in GPS only 200$ but i think i will still wait till its avalible on all networks at&t doesnt have very good service in my neck of the woods. the only thing they realessed was the iphone 3G right or was there something else i missed?

Apple and at&t have a pretty solid contract, so you may be a long, long time.......

In the UK the iphone is on O2. The new iphone is also cheaper :)

Im waiting till the relase date, july 11th to snap one up :D cant wait.

Too bad they kept that 2.0mp camera. A 3.2mp one with autofocus would be nice I think given the huge screen and what the competition have.

true it is a bit disappointing, but i hardly ever use the camera in a mobile phone anyway, just for the odd snap that I want to send to someone. I have my DSLR for my photographs :P

really i thought it ended in 2009, i'll google it and see what i come up with. I really want an iphone!

contract ends in 2012 apparently thats all i could come up with, only three and a half years to go!
