My notbook N5010 Aka 15R hard drive is about to fail it came with an oem WD3200BEVT aka Western Digital Scorpio Blue 5200rpm. Can i replace that with seagate momentous or Western Digital Scorpio Black 7200rpm Drives?

As long as it's a 2.5" SATA drive you should be fine

It was just a reminder.

I had a HP laptop once that had a re-branded wifi card and therefore a renamed driver that was only obtainable from HP. But you had to know what driver you where looking for on their website.

Don't know if re-branding is common practice now days, but I can imagine that windows 7 picks up most hardware and automatic installs drivers.

ghost copy your old hard drive so as you can replicated the drive data to the new one.
