Hi folks,
I wasn't sure where to put this one (despite being a Moderator and thus all knowing

) but I guess it may be of most use to those who have a financial interest in protecting their work, namely "Pros".
According to
this PC Pro article there is now a search engine out there, called
TinEye, which allows you to submit an image and ask it to find all instances of that image on the Net.
I haven't tried it (I doubt if many people are ripping off my work) so if anyone has used it in anger I'm sure we'd all love to hear how effective it is, even given it is currently still in Beta.
Update: I've installed TinEye as a Firefox add-on and it seems to work just as advertised when fed with, say, some CD cover art. As for my own work, it doesn't appear as though I'll be instigating any lawsuits just yet. Don't know whether to feel offended, relieved or dissatisfied with TinEye's current 701 million image database.
Bob.
