I'm an amateur photographer looking to turn a room in my house into a mini studio. The room is 9Wx13Lx8H. Is this room big enough to take portrait, fashion, glamour and beauty shots? Having a lot of equipment would also pose a problem but being that it isn't the biggest of spaces I wouldn't need large softboxes, umbrellas, etc. Also, I'm looking to purchase seamless paper and was wondering what you think the three colors that I should have? I was thinking white, black and grey. Your opinion is greatly appreciated.

Imho a room 13 feet long is too short for capturing full body-shots of a standing person. You have to subtract the necessary distance of the person in front of the background and you yourself need at least 1m "wiggle-room" behind the tripod. So you get max 2 meter operating distance between your lens and the subject

Have to agree with Thomas, while 13' is pretty decent for upper body portraits full body is going to be difficult. Having your model sitting is an option, this can work well with small kids.
