Hi all. I've been working on my website for quite sometime now. I wanted to build it from a scratch, which I started and then realized I did not have the time to work on it.

So I just browsed and found a neat wordpress theme which I used and got the site up and running.

The theme I've used is http://demo.graphpaperpress.com/fullscreen/

Link to my website http://deepaknaikphotography.com/

Please do let me know how I can improve the site and also my pictures.

Thanks..!!

The site
The site looks good, the only things I would change are the about text and the gallery name "stills".

Your English is good but not perfect and there are a few grammatical oddities (you used "from" in place of "for"). Proof reading by a native English speaker might be useful.

The gallery title "stills" doesn't really make sense because all photos are by definition still, so all the images on your site should belong there. Try to come up with something a little more precise/descriptive, like "close up" or "objects" or whatever it is you want that gallery to be about.

The pictures
You have some nice images and some dull images. Most of the dull ones are landscapes. A good landscape needs to have interest in the foreground, middle ground and background. Yours generally have a large empty foreground, narrow strip of not too engaging middle ground and then large empty skies.

Composition is a vital part of any great photo. You need to fill the frame with interest and learn how a viewers eye reacts to an image so that you can lead the eye to where you want it. This is especially true of landscapes. Changing the composition slightly can dramatically change an image. I would suggest you spend some time reading up on landscape photography

I believe you are referring to the sentence from the About page. I have been interested in photography from a long time", Should it be "...in photography for a long time"?

I am trying to come up with a different name for that section of the site.

I did start reading up on Landscapes after my site went online. And I'm now starting to understand what you mean. I am planning to visit the places again to redo some of the shots.
