Hello everyone,

If you were to buy a brand new macro lens, would it be the Nikkor 60mm f/2.8 (non AF-S), or the Sigma 105 f/2.8?

I have the choice of both, and dont know which to pick.

I'd go for the Sigma, purely for the extra reach - you get to be further from your macro subjects and it can double as a really sharp short telephoto. The optical quality is excellent and, having used it, I can tell you the build is very good too. :)

Alright, thanks.

In this case, it's also cheaper for me by about $50...
