Just wondering if anybody out there has this lens and can tell me whether it is any good or not ?
Found prices of it for about £90 so is it worth the money or not or is worth saving longer for the canon lens of same spec?
cheers
dan.

It used to be my favourite lens before I upgrade to sth else. Best value for money for cheap 1:2 macro and telephoto.

I have used it for 2 years plus ever since I started photography and I carry around all the time.

some sample image taken with that lens:

A little soft at 300mm though but usable. But the price is definitely worth it for a kick start in telephoto.

I think this is the wrong forum. Look through the sigma forum :)

Get the APO version, it's better.
Here's my mini review (there's a user reviews section in Camera labs forums):

The mount shouldn't matter much.
