I like Camera Labs and I like Vimeo.

IQ is gorgeous, but yet again we get another proof that sound quality is almost insulting in comparison. Frankly, it's hard to believe that Panasonic could not come up with a better solution for this... Future updates of this camera should definitively take this issue into account.

Real shame about the sound, like beren23 has already said, the IQ is excellent. One of the best I've ever seen from a compact.

So TZ5 is not much of an HD video image-catcher when compared against dedicated camcorders.

Again, about audio quality: someone said on another board, and this is a paraphrase:
Panasonic does not want TZ5 to be competitive against sales of Panasonic camcorders.
So they sabotage the camera's audio design.
