SanDisk Extreme III 2 GB Compact Flash Card

Well, the card is extremely fast ! I can do 3 FPS easy ! I think this is the best choice for the 400D.

The Extreme IV is 40 mb/sec and the Extreme III is 20 mb/sec, but the Extreme III is fast enough and I think i won't see a difference on the 400D.

Maybe on the Mark III since it is 10 FPS and require a really fast card.. other than that, this is the perfect card,.

Maybe too small for shooting RAW, but for Large/Fine JPEG it's nice

I got the SD model for my Nikon D40 and I'm pretty happy with it. I shoot exclusively in RAW but it seems to be large enough for my needs (6 megapixels!).
It was on sale at a local camera shop on their opening day, and on top of that I got the box with PhaseOne's CameraOne LE. Even though it was a day or so past the end of the promotional period, I was able to download, install and activate it

Yeah, I think Sandisk is a very good quality producer of flash cards!
But I would invest in bigger cards, esp. when you're shooting RAW with 10MP cameras. Currently the price for 8GB cards is almost equal to 4x2GB cards and the risk of loosing your 8GB card in the camera is nil whereas the risk of loosing one of those 2GB cards outside your camera is not to be underestimated.
