hi.

bought my SX1 a month before the 2.0.0.0 firmware update was released.
i downloaded the firmware update and proceeded.
my SX1's firnware version is now 2.0.0.0

i was really excited and did a few test shots using RAW.
and to compare, i shot the same subjects in jpeg, using the RAW + jpeg setting

so, i uploaded the images on my PC. one of my image editing softwares is the irfanview. i can open both the CR2 image and the jpeg image in the irfanview.

the problem:
the CR2 image is shown/viewed in thumbnail size 160 x 120 x 24 BPP
whereas
the jpeg image of the same subject is shown/viewed in size 3648 x 2736 x 24 BPP

dont' get me wrong but i can perfectly view and edit both CR2 and jpeg images in the digital photo professional (which can be downloaded at the SX1 firmware update page)
i am concerned about why the CR2 file is shown/viewed as a tiny thumbnail image in the irfanview.

so here's what i did:
1--i unistalled and reinstalled the irfanview--the result, the CR2 image is still shown/viewed thumbnail size
2--i copied the CR2 and jpeg images into a flash drive and went to a friend who also has the irfanview on his laptop. the same: the CR2 image is shown/viewed thumbnail size

i have tried all settings in the irfanview but the CR2 image is still teeny-weeny

i'm afraid that there is a bug in the firmware update.

any inputs?
