I really can't decide between the 2. What interests me most is natural colours and picture quality.
It seems to me that FZ200 pictures have often a blue tinge while the greens and blues are too bright. For ex here:
http://www.cameralabs.com/reviews/Panas ... ages.shtml the picture with the big tree by the lake (the second picture) has a completely different green colour as compared with the Canon SX40 HS picture.
Has anyone noticed the bluish tinge in Panasonic pictures?
I find the Canon colours more natural but I've also noticed that the whites are often overexposed and often have purple fringing.
PS. Zoom is not the most important factor so I'm not considering the new Canon SX50 HS
