anyone ordered from jessops, I've ordered some stuff that's on 28day special order but they haven't got a clue how long, was just wondering if anyone's got an idea of how long it usually takes.

Once they have processed the order they deliver it very quickly. When I ordered my camera it took one day to process and another day to deliver.

I think that if you order before a certain time, maybe 3pm, you get it next day but I missed that time with my order.

Sorry I thought you meant you ordered it in a sale and were wondering how long it normally took jessops to deliver

It will probably take at least 2 weeks to deliver the lens. Have you considered ordering the lens from another site.

Amazon say it will only take an extra 2 days to deliver the lens and it is the same price as jessops. If you prefer companies that aren't just online and have shops around the UK then Jacobs have it for the same price and say it will be delivered in 5-7 days.

How long a go did you order it?

Also Jacobs have it available for click and collect meaning you could pick it up tomorrow if it is available at your local store :D

For special order, I think that means they don't keep it in stock themselves and order it from the manufacturer as needed. It probably doesn't take 28 days as long as it is in stock.

If you want more piece of mind, try phoning them up and see if they have more news for you.

When I bought Sigma kit from Clifton Cameras in the past, they just got Sigma to send it direct to me. I wonder if Jessops operate the same way? Again, as long as it is in stock it should be pretty fast.

If you want to buy a camera from Jessops, you may as well walk into the store. Yes, they take 5-20 minutes of your time inputting your information into the computer system, but it saves waiting for the parcel to arrive.

They act an an agent for Colorama, which can take even longer.

@ canon 500 the problem is that jessops don't stock sigma lenses they order them when they are required.

That is what I meant. If you want a camera, they usually have them in store.

I personally would be looking for the best price.
